Self-Proclaimed Doctor Arrested for Injecting Victim with Cement

A Miami Gardens woman was severely injured by a self-proclaimed doctor who injected her with cement, mineral oil and Super Glue, nearly killing her.

According to an article published by the Miami-Dade, Oneal Ron Morris, a transgender woman, is suspected of being part of an underground network of scam artists who have been performing buttocks augmentations in people’s homes throughout Southern Florida for years.

The woman was treated by three different hospitals for pneumonia-like symptoms and large, infected welts on her buttocks before the concoction known as “fix-a-flat” was identified as what was used in her at home augmentation.

According to reports, the woman paid $700 for the injections that were performed out of a Miami Gardens residence. The woman reported seeing some of the tools, which she described as tubing attached to some type of cooler. The women reported that the injections were so painful that she made Morris stop before finishing.

Morris was tracked down and charged with a second-degree felony for practicing medicine without a license and causing serious bodily harm.

The identity of the woman has not been released. But, she is not the first. Vera Lawrence of Carol City died in March 2011 after being injected with too much silicone at what is called a “pumping party” at a Miami home. The party hosts were not licensed physicians and were charged with her death.
